Acknowledging there is a broad spectrum of education settings each working within their own journey of healing and reconciliation.
My experiences of creating and implementing strategic planning to embed meaningful change has taught me that where ever this journey starts it is always impactful.
Often specialised staff are not available to support settings through their journey and I aim to create, hold and engage with organisations as they attempt to build capacity in culturally safe and inclusive spaces.
I am not of Aboriginal descent and I aim to support the voices of Aboriginal staff, students, parents and community through best practice engagement. I believe is not the burden of Aboriginal people to hold reconciliation, it is in all of our hands.
